The Majorana Experiment is a search for neutrinoless double beta decay in 76-germanium, with the objective of determining if neutrinos and antineutrinos are the same particle. The initial phase is the Demonstrator, a 40-kg array of p-type point-contact detectors, of which 30 kg are isotopically enriched to 86%. The Demonstrator will be operated at the 4850-foot depth of the Sanford Underground Research Facility in Lead, South Dakota.
